Privacy notice

This notice describes the current MaterialScope site. Updated September 30, 2026.

Calculator measurements

Calculations happen in your browser. This version has no account system, project database, advertising or analytics integration. It does not send calculator measurements to a MaterialScope application server.

Shared links

A shared link includes calculator inputs in the URL fragment. Anyone who receives it can read and restore those inputs. Do not include personal or sensitive information. Copying a result or link uses your browser clipboard when you select that action.

Hosting and external resources

When deployed, the hosting provider may process request information such as IP address, browser details and technical logs. Fonts are hosted with this site; loading a page does not request fonts from Google. Links to external product references are governed by those providers’ own policies.

Cookies and future features

The current site does not intentionally set advertising cookies or use browser storage for user profiles. Saved accounts, analytics, advertising or contact forms would require a review and update of this notice before activation.
